GIRLS UNIFORM 

BALLET

BABY BALLET to GRADE 1

Children need to wear the ISTD set ballet uniform in sky blue. They need a leotard, chiffon skirt, pink ballet socks or tights and pink ballet shoes with elastics. Hair should be tied back neatly and no jewellery should be worn.

 

BALLET GRADE 2 & 3

Children need to wear the ISTD set ballet uniform in sky blue. They need a leotard, pink ballet tights and pink ballet shoes with ribbons. Hair needs to be in a bun and no jewellery should be worn.

 

BALLET GRADE 4 and above

Children can now wear a black leotard with thin straps, pink ballet tights and pink ballet shoes with ribbons. Hair must be in a bun and no jewellery should be worn.

Ballet uniforms can be purchased from Chameleon Dancewear in Kettering or any other dance retailer.

 

TAP

PRIMARY to GRADE 3

ISTD set ballet leotard in sky blue, black leggings or dance pants, black tap shoes with heel and toe taps. Hair needs to be tied back neatly and no jewellery should be worn.

GRADE 4 and above

Black leotard with thin straps, black leggings or dance pants,black oxford style tap shoes with heel and toe taps, hair must be tied back neatly and no jewellery should be worn.

Tap uniform can be purchased form Chameleon Dancewear in Kettering or any other dance retailer.

 

MODERN

Velvet kingfisher leotard with high neck and keyhole back, black leggings, black jazz shoes, hair tied back neatly and no jewellery should be worn.

 

STREET DANCE

Anderson school T-shirt, black leggings or any other black trousers suitable for dancing and any trainers. No jewellery should be worn. T-shirts can be purchased from Miss Anderson.

 

 

BOYS UNIFORM 

BALLET

White leotard or tight t-shirt with cap sleeves, black tight shorts, white socks, black ballet shoes with elastics.

 

TAP

White t-shirt, black trousers, black tap shoes.

 

 

MODERN

White t-shirt, black dance trousers, black jazz shoes.

 

ADULT'S ATTIRE

There is no uniform for adult classes, however comfortable loose fitting clothes are recommended such as tracksuit bottoms and T-shirts. Ballet and tap shoes are necessary and any trainers can be worn for street dance.
